This energy efficient (BREEAM Excellent, photocell powered) state of the art building will serve West Wolds. There is a 100 Hour Pharmacy (Market Weighton Pharmacy Ltd) within the building.
There is space on site for a phase 2 building if further activity can be moved from Secondary Care. As the building is equidistant between York, Hull and Goole it is hoped it can act as an increasing hub of activity both medically and for education.
The practice trains GPs and HYMS students. It is hoped eventually that social services may find a way to have a base here. The building was a joint project between Lovel Capital Projects Ltd and Assura Property.
